In some cases when deploying a channel with xtremepush you will have text such as the value exchange message in the push prompt window (example shown below) that is generated on the xtremepush platform.
If you want this to support translation into different languages then this can be done on the translations section in project settings.
On this page you can add translations for elements of text that your users may see but are generated by the xtremepush platform. In the above example translations have already been added for the push prompt window value exchange text in English, Spanish and Russian.
NOTE before using the translations page contact your account manager who can arrange the xtremepush support team to enable the set of languages you want to support.
On the translations page if you click Add Translation you will be taken to the following form:
You can select the text you need to add a translation for. Current options relate to the web push prompt when using a window and include:
- Text on the initial custom prompt; title, text, and text on allow and deny buttons can be modified
- Text on the subsequent window; title and body text of value exchange
Select the appropriate label for which you need a translation, then choose a language and add the translation text. Click save to add a new translation:
Keep adding translations until you have configured all necessary variants. You can come back to the translations page and edit and delete entries later if needed.
